1. Make them long: At least 16 characters
2. Make them random: Use a random string of mixed-case letters, numbers and symbols or create a memorable phrase of 4–7 unrelated words.(e.g., HorsePurpleHatRun)
3. Make them unique: Use a different strong password for each account, for example:
   • Bank: k8dfh8c@Pfv0gB2
   • Email account: legal tiny facility freehand probable enamel

Password Managers are applications, many times available for free, that help you save your passwords in one secure place for later reference.ÌýMany of them also offer random, secure password generation and the ability to securely auto-fill websites and applications.ÌýThis helps you to have unique, complex passwords for each of your sites and resources without having to memorize them all.
